Orange Blossom Special II 祭り しょにょ２
いつも写真の紹介とかだけで、内容無いので今回はちょっと紹介です。
つってもネット調べてもなかなか出てこないのでプラモの説明に書かれてたことなんですけどね。
作った人はAllen Gainesさんっていう人ですね。年代は模型の年代から見ると
1984年前後かと思われます。車は '37 Chevy Truckです。
1/64で出来ないもんかと思ってるのですがドナーになるこのタイプを
作ってるメーカーがなかなか無いんですよね。
ほかの諸元はこんな感じです。

The Orange Blossom Special looks like a
super-sharp street rod, but underneath it's
all power and go. Allen Gaines's '37 Chevy
classic is one of the finest 2-wheel drive pulling
trucks active today. With a supercharged
engine that gulps raw alcohol (about 7 gallons
to complete one pull), the iron beauty produces
about 1200 horsepower of fun. The vintage
bodywork gives the old truck style, but it's an
innovative combination of parts that makes the
3,950-pound wheel-stander get up and go.
Gaines took the '37 2WD classic and performed
some mechanical magic. Shoehorned into the
stock engine compartment is a 6.71 blown 454
cubic inch Chevy rat motor with supercharging.
He built his own chassis with steel tubing. The
brakes are Toyota, rear axles by Eaton and
the front springs are custom-built. The front
spindles, front axle, steering column and even
the steering wheel are original equipment,
preserving some of the beauty of the past in a
super-puller that is powered for today's intense
brand of competition.
With a steam engine painted on the door
panel and a genuine steam engine whistle
behind the cab, Allen Gaines and the Orange
Blossom Special always make a very colorful
and noisy entrance. Its vintage bodywork
gives the old truck style. Crowds love the
fine-looking power machine painted Metalflake
Orange with Cadillac Firemist Brown fenders.
Sitting on 18 x 34 Cepek rear tires, the
wheely-puller comes ready to perform.
The Orange Blossom Special is a real show
car. Its wheels-up antics make the crowds
cheer, but it's the horsepower that makes them
roar. Dragging 40 to 50 thousand pounds of
sled (plus weight resistance) down the track,
the Orange Blossom Special outdistances the
competition for the win. It's one '37 Chevy that
"stands up" to the best of them.

ちなみにこんな2 engine のpullerも作ってたりキャタピラーのもあったりします。

って言っても、おもちゃであるのは、知る限りはこの３台だけ。
でも、こんなPulling Machineなんつー、マイナーなレースのもので
３種類もあったってことはすごいのかな。
前のMajorettoのものは、似てるだけで実は違うし。
大人の事情ってやつ？あとは1/64のやつがあったらいいなと。
カスタム？誰か作って(^.^) 人まかせかーい。
以前のYouTubeの動画なくなっちゃたんで新しいやつ
マルチエンジンのPullerのオラオラ感（？）がなくて、一生懸命ひっぱってますって
感じがいーですね。けなげな感じ。

中古ですが、eBayで発見してゲットしました。
Orange Blossom Special
を題材にしたおもちゃは、これで終わりかな？
